Help & FAQ
Answers to the questions we hear most — how Kaizenly works, what happens to your results, and where to go for more help.
Getting Started
What is Kaizenly?
Kaizenly is a personal-growth platform built around practical tools — assessments, trackers, frameworks, journaling prompts, and exercises — used by coaches and psychologists, now available to everyone. Instead of motivation content, you get structured tools that help you understand yourself and actually move forward.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed to explore tools or take the Getting Started quiz. Creating a free account lets you save your results to your profile, track progress over time, and connect with a coach.
What is the Getting Started quiz?
The Getting Started quiz is a short (about 2 minute) set of questions about where you are and what you want to work on. Based on your answers, we match you to the tools most likely to help right now — so you don't have to browse the whole library to find a good starting point.
How do I find the right tool for me?
The fastest way is to take the Getting Started quiz for personalized matches. You can also browse the full library by focus area, or follow a roadmap if a coach has set one up for you.
Using Tools
What kinds of tools are there?
Tools come in a few flavors: assessments (to understand a trait or pattern), trackers (to log something over time), frameworks (to think through a decision or situation), journaling prompts (for guided reflection), and exercises (small structured practices). Each is designed to be completed in one sitting and revisited later.
Are my results private?
Yes. Your results are private to your account by default. Nothing you complete is shared with anyone unless you choose to share it — for example, with a coach you've connected to.
Where do my saved results go?
When you save a result it's stored on your profile, so you can come back and review it anytime, compare it to earlier attempts, and see how things change over time.
Can I retake a tool?
Absolutely. Many tools are most useful when revisited — retaking an assessment or tracker lets you see progress and shifts over time. Each attempt is saved so your history stays intact.
What's the difference between Save and Share?
Save keeps a result on your private profile, visible only to you. Share lets you intentionally send a specific result to someone — such as a connected coach — so they can see it. Saving never shares; sharing is always your choice.
Coaching
What is a coach on the platform?
A coach is a guide who can help you get more out of the tools — suggesting where to focus, building a roadmap for you, and reviewing results you choose to share. Coaches only see what you explicitly share with them.
How do I connect with a coach?
Coaches connect with clients through an invite link. When a coach shares their link with you and you accept, you're connected — and from then on you can share results and follow roadmaps they create for you.
Can I become a coach?
Yes. If you'd like to guide clients on the platform, you can apply to become a coach. Applications go through an approval step before your coach features are enabled.
What are roadmaps?
A roadmap is a curated, ordered sequence of tools — a guided path through the library. A coach can build a roadmap tailored to you, so instead of choosing tools one at a time, you have a clear next step to work through.
Account & Privacy
How is my data protected?
Your results and profile are tied to your account and kept private by default. We don't sell your personal data, and information is only visible to others when you choose to share it. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is stored and handled.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Reach out to support@kaizenly.app and we'll take care of it.
Is this medical or therapeutic advice?
No. The tools on Kaizenly are for education and self-reflection only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic care. If you are in crisis or need help, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services.
